If the first day of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week already we left impressed, the second day has not been back. Although it was difficult, the designers have managed to overcome in this second day showing collections where elegance emphasized.

Today arrived at the equator of the catwalk, but still many designers who enjoy and learn about proposals that surely we will surprise. Meanwhile, we do a review of the day yesterday.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion

Rabaneda and Maria Barrios
It is not that Rabaneda and Maria Barrios have joined to make a collection, but they decided to parade together, like other designers, to share the costs involved to step onto a walkway as the Madrid.

Rabaneda was responsible for opening the second day of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. The young designer could not hide the nerves before and during the parade, and the excitement that everything came out perfect at the end. Many predict him a great future as a designer, and after seeing the collection autumn/winter 2013-2014 that presented yesterday, no wonder we get success.

It gave the leap from the EGO to the great gateway overhand, a collection in which combinations of fabrics were major players. Fabrics like neoprene joined silk raffia to create pieces of futurism and volume that highlight the female figure. Jeffrey Campbell went back up to the catwalk for a second consecutive day by completing the looks of the designer.

Maria Barrios presented the most retro, urban and colourful of the day collection. The 1940s were reflected on the catwalk through her collection autumn/winter 2013-2014: pencil skirts, dresses and jackets with raised shoulders, pants skinny with volume at the hips… And all this bathed colours where yellow stands out above the others.

Before I started the parade, Ailanto created a great expectation then topped with an impressive collection. His collection fall-winter 2013-2014 is inspired by the work of Cubist painter Sonia Delaunay, so the geometric prints combined with floral became the guiding thread of the proposals.

Oversize clothes are mixed with straight pants and tube skirts, getting a perfect contrast. The male looks are present in many of the proposals, something that I personally love. Earth tones, Browns and mustards are mixed with the classic black and blue to finish a collection ready to take to the streets. Sure that all those who were in the front row loved that they endulzaran them the wait with some delicious chocolates.

Victorio & Lucchino
Victorio & Lucchino are a few stalwarts of this gateway, the day that they are missing the Madrid Fashion week, this will be another thing. On this occasion we have presented a very serious, elegant and feminine, perfect collection to get off of the catwalk and take to the streets. Greys, silvers, muted Browns guiding proposals in this collection looks amazing getting.

Return pleated skirts, a classic that every so often designers rescue to promote that as feminine touch that talk. Volume, asymmetrical garments, combination of textures… complete a collection that once again, we applaud.

Angel Schlesser
Angel Schlesser it opted for urban and cosmopolitan women creating a collection perfect for any occasion, from the Office to an evening event. Once again, we again see straight trousers above the knees that remind us of a more retro look, but that combined with parts oversize, jackets or shirts, achieving a spectacular contrast.

Angel Schlesser reminds us of the infallible combination between black and white that we do not allow watching any season, introducing some nuances in red, Midnight blue and silver.
