The designers of fashion to often express their creative vision and lack of constraints in their sketches. Although these sketches may not be identical to the final garment, is where we explore and modify ideas. Draw the outline of a body, including waist, legs and torso. Your body type will vary depending on whether you’re doing a sketch for a male or female body. However, starting with the basic outline of the human body will help with the proportions of the clothes. Check if the proportions are realistic before continuing.

Find the waistline in the sketch of the body. This line is the dividing line between the upper and lower design design.

Draw your design on the lower half of the waistline. If you’re designing a dress, begin designing the bottom of the waist line down. If you’re designing pants, uses waistline point initial . Keep in mind when designing the lower half of your clothes that some people have bigger hips and thighs than others.

Draw the top of your design by adding the top of the dress or blouse or shirt trousers . If you’re just designing pants, leaving the top desuda.
